Dead by Daylight 10.2.2a tweaks The Executioner and The Good Guy through Backend Tunables
Dead by Daylight's 10.2.2a backend patch adjusts The Executioner and The Good Guy, with no download needed but a game restart required.

Dead by Daylight’s 10.2.2a Backend Bugfix Patch brings balance tweaks for two Killers, The Executioner and The Good Guy. Behaviour Interactive introduced the Backend Tunables system last week to get small balance changes to players faster than waiting for a full patch, and today it’s putting that system to use.
There’s nothing to download. You will need to restart your game for the changes to take effect, though.
The Executioner
Behaviour says the aim is to make The Executioner “feel snappier” when using his power, while giving him more range. Here’s what changed:
- Rites of Judgment now activates in 0.8s (was 1s).
- The time to cancel Rites of Judgment is up to 1.2s (was 1s).
- Maximum charges for Rites of Judgment are down to 8 (was 10).
- Rites of Judgment recharges faster, at 0.5 charges/s (was 0.25 c/s).
- Punishment of the Damned’s initial spawn delay is down to 0.25s (was 0.267s).
- The delay between each segment of Punishment of the Damned is down to 0.001s (was 0.033s).
- Each segment lasts longer, with its lifetime up to 0.3s (was 0.18s).
- Punishment of the Damned’s maximum range is now 16m (was 10m).
The Good Guy
The developer says The Good Guy could use a boost to his lethality while in power, and the changes are meant to put him in a better place for the long term.
- Hidey-Ho mode’s cooldown is down to 10s (was 12s).
- Vaulting during Slice & Dice now takes 0.8s (was 1s).
- The maximum Slice & Dice time is up to 2s (was 1.8s).
Behaviour also mentioned last week that changes were planned for a number of Killers.
