Apex Legends Godzilla event sends the monster to Storm Point

Godzilla has turned up in Apex Legends, and Storm Point is where it has decided to stomp around. Respawn announced the Godzilla event on Steam, with the post going up on 5 November 2026 in US Pacific time.

The catch is that the monster can’t be beaten. According to the announcement, you can only survive it.

What you’ll be doing

Respawn’s pitch is a squad-versus-squad scrap set in the destruction Godzilla leaves in its wake. So the familiar job of fighting rival squads carries on, just with a very large problem stomping through the map.

You’ll also want to keep an eye on Godzilla’s attacks, because dodging them is how you claim a piece of its power. That piece of power comes in the form of a custom Devotion with heat-ray attacks.

The Devotion

Respawn’s description of the reward is short: a custom Devotion with heat-ray attacks, tied to getting out of the way of Godzilla’s own attacks. It’s a neat bit of symmetry, with the monster’s firepower ending up in your squad’s hands if you can stay alive long enough to earn it.
