Blizzard’s hotfix list for 6 November 2026 eases two bosses in The Venomous Abyss raid: Vashnik, the Malignant and Ula’tek. Ula’tek gets the bulk of the changes, with lower damage across most of his abilities and a handful of mechanics trimmed back.

Vashnik, the Malignant

  • Malignance damage is down 37% on Mythic.
  • Malignance’s damage over time now lasts 16 seconds on Mythic.

Ula’tek

  • Health scaling on Ula’tek and several adds (Blightscale Rawling, Viper and Shrieker, plus Weakened Doomscale) has been adjusted on Raid Finder, Normal and Heroic to better suit smaller raid sizes. Their base health is lower too, so larger groups don’t inflate it.
  • Ula’tek’s own health is down 15% on Heroic.
  • Unchecked Rage damage is cut by 61% on all difficulties.
  • Caustic Waves, Malice, Virulent Spit, Falling Debris and Viscous Echoes all take damage reductions, with the size varying by difficulty.
  • Call of the Serpent summons fewer eggs on Normal and Heroic, and Serpent’s Bite and Grasping Fangs pick fewer targets.
  • On Heroic, Phase 2 loses 2 eggs per side (8 per side in total), and Phase 3 no longer adds extra Caustic Waves from Spectral Tails.
  • On Mythic, Noxious Splash’s initial damage is down 33% and its damage over time down 84%. Putrid Membrane now lasts 20 seconds (was 30).

Earlier hotfixes on the same list

The page also carries changes from late October and early November. On 5 November, Blizzard trimmed Mythic damage and Blood Venom pool size and duration in Entombed Sentinels, Twin Fangs and The Coiled Altar encounters.

On 27 October, class balance moved too. Feral Druid and Fire Mage get 5% more damage outside PvP, Restoration Druid gets healing boosts for dungeons, and Subtlety Rogue takes an 8% ability damage cut. A round of PvP tuning touched Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Evoker, Hunter, Mage, Monk, Paladin, Priest, Rogue and Shaman.

Blizzard notes that some hotfixes need realm restarts, and some problems can’t be fixed without a client patch.
