Valve has pushed out a small Team Fortress 2 update that sorts out a spooky map bug. Spies disguised as pumpkins on cp_wildcat_event no longer show up with a missing model.

The update applies automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2, so there’s nothing to download by hand.

Map fix

cp_wildcat_event has been updated to fix the missing model for Spies disguised as pumpkins. If you’ve played the map and spotted a Spy that looked wrong while in a pumpkin disguise, this is the change that addresses it.

Tournament medals

Valve says it has updated or added some tournament medals. The post doesn’t spell out which medals are affected.

Getting the update

Valve lists these as the major changes in the release, and the post is tagged as patch notes on Steam. Restart the game and the update will be applied automatically.
