Crimson Desert Enhanced patch 2.04.02 fixes ship, sea monster and crash bugs
Pearl Abyss's Crimson Desert Enhanced patch 2.04.02 fixes stuck ships, sea serpents, missing rewards and crashes, and tweaks the pioneering system.

Pearl Abyss has released patch 2.04.02 for Crimson Desert Enhanced, and it’s mostly a tidy-up of the seas. Ships, sea creatures and a few stubborn crashes get attention, plus one handy change to pioneering. The patch is available now on Steam for both PC and Mac.
Quality of life
- Pioneering is easier to start: when you enter an area where you can pioneer, a notification appears in the right-hand menu, so you can launch the mission straight from there.
Sea and ship fixes
- Certain ships that stayed stationary should now move.
- Crew members that didn’t appear on some ships have been fixed.
- Leviakan no longer stops moving in certain situations.
- Sea serpents that wouldn’t attack you have been sorted out.
- Pirates no longer teleport when they fall into the water.
- Your spouse or comrade won’t follow you into the water any more.
- Some interactions that became unavailable when you held up your lantern while diving have been restored.
- A bug that could set the playable character on fire and stop them boarding a ship has been fixed.
Other fixes
- Rewards for certain quests and challenges that weren’t being granted should now arrive.
- Earnings from management facilities no longer increase abnormally in certain situations.
- Occasional crashes have been addressed.
- Your spouse should stop behaving abnormally during combat.
- NPCs that didn’t come back out after entering the restroom have been fixed.
- Oongka no longer becomes invisible in certain situations.
- Waterfalls that appeared incorrectly have been fixed.
- AMD: certain graphics that appeared incorrectly on driver version 26.10.1 have been fixed.
Pearl Abyss points to a separate Crimson Desert Known Issues notice for problems it’s still tracking.
