Satisfactory now supports crossplay, so Steam, Epic, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X players can build in multiplayer together. Coffee Stain Studios posted the patch notes on 4 November 2026 (US Pacific time), and the update also brings a telemetry overhaul and a long run of fixes.

Crossplay

  • Crossplay is handled through Epic Online Services, so a free Epic Games account is needed for crossplay and for managing cross-platform friends.
  • On console, an Epic account is needed to host or join any multiplayer session. On Steam, you can still play with other Steam-only users without one.
  • You can create an Epic account from inside the game, in the Online Settings menu.
  • To join a friend on another platform, link your platform account to an Epic account and be friends on both your platform and Epic. Their session then shows up in the Join Game menu.
  • If you can’t see a session, check your privacy settings allow others to view your profile, or try restarting your console or PC. Joining through the system friends list is another option.

Dedicated servers and telemetry

  • Dedicated Server is only available on PC, so it can’t be used during crossplay.
  • Coffee Stain has partnered with Indifferent Broccoli for server hosting. A Rent a Server button in the PC Server Manager menu points to it.
  • Telemetry (gameplay data collection) has been overhauled. You’ll see a one-time popup on launch, and you can change your choice later under Gameplay > Send Gameplay Data in the Options Menu.

Fixes and improvements

  • Potential fixes for being unable to join big multiplayer saves, though the studio says some issues remain.
  • Several crash fixes, including ones for Creative Mode’s Give Item field, Blueprint Autoconnect and the Blueprint Designer and Vehicle Inventory UI.
  • Rebinding keys that overlap, such as Reload on R, now works properly and updates conflicting inputs.
  • Vehicle fixes cover autopilot logic, trucks getting stuck in Truck Stations and path snapping.
  • Fixes for rendering flicker on some AMD GPUs with Frame Generation or Motion Blur on.
  • World fixes for holes around waterfalls, water volumes in Rocky Desert and missing collision in Desert Canyon.
  • Daisy Chaining added to the Radar Tower and Priority Power Switch.
  • Map zoom no longer resets every time you open the map.
