Aniimo’s October 30 patch, v1.1.3857679.0, is mostly a big cleanup. It fixes stuck quests, missing items and some odd boss behaviour, and makes small tweaks to one Operation: Egg Heist fight and cutscene audio.

Quests and story

  • Several issues in the main story “The Challenge of Fighting Upstream!” are fixed, including ones that could stop the Waterfall Climb and “Touch the mysterious mechanism” quests from finishing, plus a camera problem while surfing.
  • Princess Sugartini can no longer be defeated in a way that blocks quest progress.
  • NPCs should no longer vanish during the main quest cutscene after the sweet goo is cleared.
  • The second Eggshell Coins task in the “Operation: Egg Heist” Season Achievement handbook can now be completed.
  • Gachapus can now be identified by photo in the “Who’s That Aniimo?” event.

Battles

  • Alpha Glynsera no longer has Super Armor for the whole fight.
  • Irisalis’s Ultimate now deals its missing damage in the Alpha Sugartini battle.
  • Alpha Bouldus has a smaller detection range in “Operation: Egg Heist” and no longer recovers HP after leaving combat.

Exploration and collecting

  • Chests under trees in certain areas (on mobile) and several wetland chests on the Isle of Might can now be collected.
  • Progress toward unlocking Dewple’s Waterfall Form in the Isle of Might’s waterfall area is no longer blocked.
  • Some Aniimo Umbral and Sparkling Forms that sometimes failed to appear now show up.
  • Certain Aniimo no longer appear in Prismana and Umbral Forms at once.
  • Prismana Aniimo in the Whisperwake Isles can no longer be caught in friends’ worlds.
  • Bubble Balls no longer bounce characters upward forever.

Home, photos and shops

  • Home presets can be applied even if you don’t own all the required furniture.
  • Some new Aniimo now appear in the Home.
  • Furniture and Aniimo that couldn’t be brought out in the Whisperwake Isles are fixed.
  • Photo Studio invitations to take photos together work properly, and the “Nightborn Allure” background shows the right acquisition method.
  • Irisalis Petals are back in the Stamp Shop.
  • Crop production times have been corrected.

Interface and settings

  • Settings, including Variable Rate Shading, were missing on Xbox PC and have been restored.
  • The Friends list should reliably appear.
  • Help screen images, “Nightshadow Dash” colours and an uncleared red dot in Elite Training are fixed.
  • Counts for the Primegy spending and login day tasks in the Companion Handbook are corrected.
  • Audio during cutscenes has been improved to stop stuttering.
