Once Human 3.1.1 fixes Voyager ship loot so sunk ships no longer cost you rewards
Once Human's 3.1.1 update changes how Voyager ships drop loot when sunk and fixes a Ghost Ship reward bug, a loading-screen trap and more.

Once Human’s 3.1.1 update changes what happens when a Voyager ship goes down, so you won’t lose your reward just because the ship sank before you grabbed the loot. Starry Studio says the fixes are expected to be live by 07:00 PT on October 29, which is 1am AEDT on Friday 30 October in Sydney and Melbourne (10pm AWST on Thursday 29 October in Perth). Actual completion time may vary.
Voyager ship drops
Starry Studio says players on the Isles of Abyss reported that wreckage from sunk ships could be looted by others, and that ships were sometimes sunk on purpose before loot crates were collected.
Here’s the new setup:
- Sinking a Voyager ship now drops Voyager Loot Crates that anyone can pick up.
- If you didn’t grab the crate inside the cabin, you can still collect it after the ship sinks.
- Rewards disappear after 2 minutes, so pick them up quickly once the task is done.
The studio says this should cut down on arguments over who owns the rewards.
Other fixes
- Rewards no longer vanish and become unclaimable after the Ghost Ship triggers the mod guarantee.
- Fixed a problem where teleporting back to the water platform could leave you stuck on the loading screen for a long time, then dump you in an odd spot and kill you after signing back in.
- Descriptions of Isles of Abyss specialty resources, in places like the Extraction Pump and Automatic Mining Platform, now make clear that automatic production only works within the island range of the matching calamity zone.
- PlayStation only: players on a PlayStation Custom Server can tip the server host again.
