Bongo Cat adds Bongos cosmetic slot and Autumn 2026 event in new update

Bongo Cat’s latest update adds Bongos, a new cosmetic slot that sits under your cat and plays along with every tap. It also brings an Autumn 2026 event, a revamped Supporter Items tab and a long list of multiplayer and bug fixes on PC.

Bongos and the Autumn event

• Bongos show up in your inventory and the BongoDex, are saved in presets and can be included in the Cat Randomizer.
• They’re now part of the skin and hat drop pool, alongside the standard bongos and the autumn event ones.
• Don’t want to see other players’ bongos? Turn them off under Multiplayer Settings > Show Bongos.
• Until the end of November, you can open chests and swap saved-up items for the Autumn 2026 collection: another 3 Bongos and 3 UI themes. The developers say the themes are late and are due the following day.

Supporter Items and Paw Pass

• The Supporter Items tab has been overhauled, with the Multiplayer tab next on the list.
• There’s a new item, the Tilcayo cat, and you can now buy supporter items and the Paw Pass with Bongo Coins.
• A new poll lives in the Bulletin Board tab.
• Paw Pass: Rhythm Edition includes up to 6 Bongos, 4 new Rhythmi Cats (Trot, Inks, Mimi and Roxy), plus new skins, hats and emotes.

Other improvements

• UI themes can now drop from the emoji chest.
• New placement options for the counter (Settings > Visuals) and for multiplayer nameplates (Settings > Multiplayer). F2 or Auto Hide Counter hides the counter.
• Inventory tabs moved to the side, and you can pick which side in Settings > Visuals.
• New settings turn off UI animations and hide item rarity borders.
• Chests grey out when you can’t afford them, and new items sit at the top of your inventory until clicked.
• Performance is improved, especially when the game idles in the background.

Multiplayer

• Discord activities are fixed, so you can invite friends through Discord again.
• Lobby hosts can hide the lobby code from all members.
• Lobby names can now be up to 256 characters, are remembered for future lobbies and can be censored with the language filter.
• Spawn Settings now save flip and rotate values between sessions.
• “Swap Cats On Drop” is fixed for the Free and Random patterns.

Bug fixes

• The cat no longer sometimes starts in a different position on startup.
• Window transparency no longer breaks after an unexpected close.
• Korean chat text no longer shows formatting tags.
• Light edge pixels around scaled cosmetics are gone.
• “Only Randomize Presets” no longer picks the preset you’re already wearing.
• Paw Pass rewards no longer bob when Cat Bobbing is off.
