Nintendo Treehouse to play Pikmin 4 Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy on 2 November

Nintendo has announced a special Treehouse broadcast for Pikmin 4 - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy, separate from its Pikmin Day Direct (via Nintendo Life). It’s called Nintendo Treehouse Plays, and it goes up on YouTube at 9am PT on 1 November.

That works out to a very early start in Australia, and it’s available on demand, so there’s no need to set an alarm.

When to watch in Australia

The times below are for Monday 2 November:

• Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart: 4am AEDT
• Brisbane: 3am AEST
• Adelaide: 3:30am ACDT
• Perth: 1am AWST

Nintendo describes the broadcast as a Pikmin Day event, and says viewers can watch on demand through YouTube.

Free demo

Nintendo is also releasing a free demo of the Switch 2 Edition. It gives you the opening area and two stages of Dandori Academy, so you can get a feel for both parts.

Progress isn’t wasted if you like what you play: the demo lets you transfer your save data across to the full game.
